Re: Favorite mouse?
You get used to the buttons pretty quickly. The four thumb buttons on the side get used the most in my case. The three buttons to the left of the left click button get used in my case to switch tool sets(RX) and enter and delete in Pro Tools. I don't use the button below the scroll wheel.
It took about two days to dial in what I wanted it to do and a few days beyond that to get the muscle memory down. It is nice to be able to program macros into the keys. I have one in Pro Tools that will grab the next region on a track, pull out the head and tail by 1 frame and put 1 frame fades. Randall

Re: Favorite mouse?
The Logitech M570 thumb trackball/Contour Shuttle Pro v2 works wonders for me. Switching to the trackball saved my wrist.
I also use Quickeys for my macros and the combination has made me way more efficient. |

Re: Favorite mouse?
Awesome, thanks Tom and YYR123. I already OWN the magic trackpad! THAT works well with my budget, especially since I just ordered the Avid Mac keyboard with the ProTools shortcuts printed on the keys.
