Default HD Native latency

I'd be very interested to hear from anyone running an HD Native system with pt9.

Does one have to turn on low latency monitoring, a la PTLE? Where is this done?

How would one go about sending 8 channels of low latency audio to hearback system, for instance? Does low latency mode only apply to 2 channels, like LE?

How small is the latency if I don't turn on low latency mode? Imagine I was running a full TDM HD system, with the buffer at 256 (which sounds like direct monitoring in headphones) - how much more latency does HD Native produce at this buffer size? Does it start to become a fight between buffer size and computer crashes?

Generally it'd be good to hear peoples thoughts and experiences, especially in comparison to full HD.

Thanks
