mp3 is a paid option for protools. I'm not sure if it is available for se. You can research that. if not you can bounce to another format and use itunes to convert to mp3

Which M-Audio interface did you purchase? There is a light version of ProTools included with the M-Audio interfaces to give you something to use and well, get you interested in ProTools. Remember with M-Audio hardware you're buying interfaces---with the Pro Tools boxes you're buying an interface AND getting ProToolsLE for free. If you want a full version of ProTools, you will need to purchase a copy of ProTools M-Powered.

It is definitely not just a demo.

Pro Tools (in any form, SE/MP/LE/HD) doesn't include MP3 as standard.

Just export as WAV and convert it in iTunes for free. That's what everybody does who doesn't want to pay extra for MP3.

You can also easily save it/export the .wav

Then use a converter program (I use Cwenc) to convert it to .mp3, then you can do anything you like with it :)
