Default FW connection

Hi,
I have a problem with my Mbox so I am thinking of going MP.
The problem is that I have a Pentium M Mobile proc. And the windows CPU meter
hit the roof just as I turn on my Mbox. Anyone else have this problem?
On Avid they told me that they had solved the disconecting-problems that USB-cards have when the processor changes the speed all the time.

I don't like this solution at all as the fan is turned on all the time.

So I wonder, Anyone with Pentium M and MP that have noticed this problem?
and one question more, I have only one FW connection, can I use a FW card and an external FW disk at the same time? Is there a fw connection on the FW card for a hard disk or the otherway around?

Sorry for the newbi questions..

/Kim
