Ikmultimedia Registration Problems

The software from Ikmultimedia that came with my M-box does not work. I go to register on the website and it states that the serials provided on the red card in my software bundle are not valid. GRRRRRRRR...........YOU SUCK IK ! No 800 # for support and still waiting for email support. Am I missing something ??

Watch out for the "o" they could be zero's. Try that. That solved my problem in the past.

Yep tried zero's and ohhs no luck. Very maddening ..... The other software plugs did not have type of ordeal. Can't reach em by phone and await email reply.

I'm glad DigiDesign includes IK products in their bundle.

After spending hours trying to get Amplitube and Sampletank to work together, I now know I will never spend a dime on an IK product. Their software is very buggy and their support is poor.

The U.S. Support # and Admin numbers are all over the website. I read this forum all the time also, you should not have a problem contacting us. If you want to email me our serial # and Digital ID I can check it out for you.

My Amplitube LE authorization code DID have a letter O in it, even though it stated very clearly that the were all Zero's. Spent a while on that one.

Thanks for your response Jason. I sent you an email. Actually I did call today and yesterday, it rings and then says " Thank you for calling ik tech support this mail box is full " CLICK ! DIAL TONE !!!

Well I tried it again and the problem was mixed "o"hs and zero's. I work in tech support and everyone knows not to create issues for you or the customers. If you have serials with 0h's and zero's then you need to remove the warning on the registration page that such things do not exist. Some people do RTFM.

Well said. If I have learned anything over the years, it is that you need to peruse the "read me" "update files" and other instructions/manuals.

To have IK emphatically say in their install page "All characters that appear as either 0 (zereo) or o (letter) are actually all 0's (zereo's), and for this not to be true, is the sign of a company that has the cart before the horse.
