Default m audio fasttrack pro output pot problems

Hello,my fasttrack pro output pot has packed it in.When you adjust the volume it sends out a horrific loud crackle that has destroyed my speakers.
I havent been able to locate the part guide for the ftp,and am wondering what pot is used for the output so I can replace it?I have no desire to send it off or pay for someone to replace a defective pot

Maybe not what you want to hear, but I would use this as an excuse to upgrade to a better interface. Focusrite Scarlett(USB) or Saffire(firewire) are 2 lines to consider.

I definately wouldn't be averse to an upgrade at this stage! When I do replace the pot,Id certainly consider selling it on and picking up something a bit more reliable

Can anyone shed some light on this or post a link to a schematic?

Bit late on the thread, but I'm having the same issue. No worry, it's probably just your pot meter of the main output. Buy some contact spray and spray it like crazy while turning the knob :) (ofcourse remove the cover first).

Tip of the wk for anyone reading it
