Pro Tools 11 and Blackmagic Decklink

Out of curiosity have any of you captured video into Pro Tools using a Decklink card? If so what frame rate options do you have to use?

On page 6 of the "What's new in Protools 11" guide, it states:

"With Protools 11, video capture is no longer supported".

Well there goes the upgrade option for me

Too bad, this was a neat feature to be able to capture a temp vid into PT during audio sessions it was just too limited.

When you have decklink you can capture with Blackmagic Media Express to prores for example, for free! Who still captures nowadays btw. Everything here is file-based. We never receive tapes anymore.

True but you dont get the timecode embedded at the PT session placement..... as you do when you capture right to PT.... and Im not talking about capturing from tape or a deck... Regardless this sucks for me and what I do.

I'm getting the same thing. (ProRes file). Scrubbing is virtually useless, and even just dragging the selector tool along the time line is jerky.
The PT11 Audio Engine is silky smooth, but the Video Engine is no where near as good for me.

As I could see from my tests, scrubbing to picture does it two frames at a time in PT11 no matter the codec you use.

I have Blackmagic Intensity Pro with the same scrubbing problem.
Tried every codec, switched every option in PT and Blackmagic, no result.
I've noticed that the same scrubbing problem appears in Video Window too, so it is possibly not related to Blackmagic.

PT11 is useless for syncing dialogs and foleys :-O

Has anyone solved this?

How could any bigger studio use Pro Tools 11 with this bug???
