Default 11R rules over POD HD500

I was playing through my POD HD500 through my studio monitors (Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1) and I could not believe how weak it sounds . I compared it to my 11R and I can tell you the 11R is far superior piece of gear.

I have not used my POD HD500 much and I can tell you I was never blown away by the tone I just figured I had to spend more time dialing it in. I was considering getting a DT25 to use with my POD HD500 currently I use a Peavey Vypyr Tube 60 with Sanpera II for playing live it sounds really great but I felt the POD HD500 with DT25 would be a upgrade in tone, not anymore!!!

I also have a Roland VG-99 and it also blows away the POD HD500 through my monitors.

I'm getting some Yamaha HS50Ms tomorrow but I don't expect to hear a big improvement on that POD HD500. I don't mean to trash the Line 6 I'm just being honest about my gear.
