Weiss in a 2bus setting?
Hello there,
What would be a Weiss 2-Bus settings similar to an SSL comp or Red? I'd like to try the new Weiss plugin for that duty, but it is probably very Knee related, too bad you can't see the knee graphically. The release is also very confusing. |

Re: Weiss in a 2bus setting?
I believe there are two different plugins, the eq/limiter and just the limiter. My understanding is that both were designed for mastering so I wouldn't necessarily compare it directly with those to comps. I only have the limiter so I cant say for sure but from what I understand the Weiss would be more transparent/subtle than either ssl or red.

Re: Weiss in a 2bus setting?
They are a compressor/de-esser and a limiter. The compressor/de-esser sounds very very good but is pretty high latency.
