Avid Pro Compressor - Side Chain
So I had a session setup yesterday that I wanted to do a simple VO on top of a Video track.
I setup my go to compressor for this with the Key Input and all....but I was not getting any side-chaining compression going on. (I want it to duck the video while I am doing the VO, Not exactly ground breaking work here i know).  I clicked up the infamous Dyn / Comp 3 and it behaved like it was supposed to.....Is the Avid Pro Comp's side chain broken or am i missing something to engage it? This guy worked as expected

working here.
Be sure you select the EXT source you want in the side chain pulldown.
