Control 24 support PT6.4
I've noticed that there's support for the new Command 8 and the ICON and a addendum the Pro-Control but nothing for the C24? Will it support the +12 gain level, track position numbering, track input monitoring, punch record mode... anyone?

Re: Control 24 support PT6.4
Everything you mentioned is part of the Pro Tools app, and would work even if no peripheral was connected to the rig.
The extra 6 db of headroom over unity is applied in the same space on the fader - meaning that the fader doesn't need to travel further to get you the extra gain. The space you have currently will have more resolution, that's all. Track numbering is in the app (my C24 is in a box right now as I rebuild the studio, so I haven't seen it work yet, but you should be able to see the track numbers by flipping the track view as you've done in the past - name, then group, then track number, etc)... Track punch is done with the channel record keys... etc.... Should theoretically be fine S..

Re: Control 24 support PT6.4
Actually, track numbers don't show up on the C24 scribble display, at least not on mine. And there are no buttons on the C24 for the Trackinput-Monitoring-toggling feature.
+12dB and trackpunch are supported. Stein TOre

Re: Control 24 support PT6.4
Your upgrade kit will include a set of 24 decals which you should adhere next to every fader/channel path that will start at the unity(zero) mark and go up to +12 gain. As these decals become dried or "gummy", feel free to replace them with fresh new ones as needed...........
OK I'm only joking!!! I doubt there's a fix for the "scribed" level marks but i would hope the LEDs will display the newer defaults of +12. And the GUI should display the same also. Hopefully. I just ordered my upgrade yesterday so.......We'll see........

Is there a reason Digi didn't write in 6.4 more support for Control 24 or is there a new one coming out by the end of the year? |

Re: Control 24 support PT6.4
Yeah, I can't see why this is not possible. Has anyone been able to do this? This would be a god send considering the 4 digit scribble strip falls short most of the time. Digi??
