Default Maxim on the Master Fader

Have any of you put this plug-in on your master fader? What are your thoughts? So far I like it, it raises the level nicely and seems to preserve the fine details. Anyone...? thanks.

Maxim is good for transparent limiting. I don't like the dither on it, and it doesn't have the "balls" of the L1, although the latter can "color" a little too much.

Tried the L2 plug-in yesterday. Wow! Clean, almost can't hear any dither degradation that occurs with other plugs. This is the one.

I use it on my master fader all the time, but I always bypass it just to make sure im not clipping. I used to just set the ceiling for -1, and max that sucker out, and did not realize, that that was the reason my mix sounded like CRAP.
So just besure, that when you bypass it, its not clipping.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I Agreed, I noticed the same noise with using Maxim's dither. I now use the very clean Waves L1
