Default Thoughts on Groove Tubes GT55?

Any thoughts on the Groove Tubes GT55?
I found one on ebay last night and got it for 150 bucks brand new. I"m running LE but none of them seem to have used one before. I"m going to put it with most likely a UA 2-610 Pre. Anyone use it before? I"m using it mostly for VOX and some hand percussion. Male vocalist... needed a kind of dark rich round mic for a good price and from what i've read it's a really underrated mic and really is impressive. I'll find out this next week when it comes in but i was just seeing what the pro's think. thanks alot guys!

Good for recording drum toms and sometimes, miking a ass cabinet. If you want a heavy sound.. just go for it.
