Can't access Sample folders in Workspace

basically i cannot access my .WAV samples in the Workspace because the folder wont open. In the task Manager it says 'Listing' & sometimes 'Synchronizing' with a yellow triangle icon.

out of the blue, i started getting this problem last week, it happens randomly, sometimes it work fine, sometimes not.

occurs in diff sessions. relaunch PT & restart comp did not fix the problem.

any help would be great, thanks
