Default Mbox

Can I connect the digital output to speakers directly, and mix the digital input, and mic on this? Does the sound go thru the computer, or directly speaker like a live mixer. I would like to use this as a live mixer and also for recording occassionally, wondering if that would work.

thanks
M

This, if it worked, would be the worst live mixer ever. What exactly are you trying to make happen?

using the control panel software, this would work...
except the part about connecting the digital outs to the speakers. You want the "speakers" on an analog output. Just use the faders in the panel to mix your signals to your liking.
