I'm probably just going to buy vmr, vbc, vtm. And get off the subscription. I don't need all the different slate plugs. I have tons of real hardware as inserts as well. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

Re: To HEAT or not to HEAT?
What do you think would be the best UAD plugin that is equivalent or even better than HEAT?

Re: To HEAT or not to HEAT?
That is a pretty safe equation as far as the sound quality, I think. The integration is nice, but it isn't worth two thirds the price of Pro Tools Vanilla.

I agree as I mostly use similar combinations from Waves, I really find Kramer Tape to be a useful tool. About clean EQs, I use them more and more as my love for pristine, detailed audio grows... with age I suspect. I can't see your signature from the phone, I'd love to hear some of your work.

Re: To HEAT or not to HEAT?
Check Plugin Alliance Plugins ... UAD are just porting them to their platform whereas you can get them at 1/4 of UAD price and in my opinion are the best out there

Interesting proposition. I never saved my active bypassed versions I literally turned it on and played with it once I got it and it’s on by default since

100% agree - especially with Slate and their historic faults at programming- this is why heat wins for me
