Default Eventide, Newfangled audio Elevate

Hi,

Who's tried this, what you finding?

Ive only had time to try it on some 4 to the floor club stuff and the results were impressive although when A/B nect to my usual limiting chain i found it just a tad slightly harsh and slightly less energy around the upper bass. this was with no tweaks to the filter bank or limiter EQ so just a basic limiting test. i expect when i dig deeper i will be able to tweak it to perfection.

Credit too for making this work on PT10 Lion AAX32 and for the great price

Chris

After just limited use, it seems to generally make a mix sound very slick, but at the cost of some of the raw energy. But this is just a first impression. I haven't spent enough time with it to form a solid opinion, but I probably will buy it.

I did a pretty long detailed video of it here. I like the results I can get out of it, but I have not done any serious comparisons to my "normal" chain. Its a pretty deep plugin, so it will take some time (imo) to get comfortable with it. I will say, I do feel you need a "proper" eq in front of it.

I've seen this as well. It's a very hungry Plug-in.

Yes, that too. But I would never use this in a session. It would be mastering only for me.

Yes, I probably would as well. But as it is, it's way to tough on the CPU for that.
