Default glyph drives

not ideal for anyone wanting to record acoustically in the same room as drive!!
ive gotta get a long cable and put the thing elsewhere...
good drive though

what are you talking about?? My Glyph rocks!!!! I have had ZERO problems with it. I have tracked an entire band in my basement with 0 problems.

its just a bit loud for a lone guy in his one room studio!
the fan noise can be picked up on the mike

How old is your drive? I have a GT103 with three carriers. Lately, the fan noise got out of hand. I called Glyph, they sent me two new fans (for free) and now the whole thing is vitually silent, just like it was when it was new.

Perhaps you could try the same.

the drives 2 days old. thanx for the advice. ill stick with it though. its robust. just gota get a longer cable so i can get it a bit further away. its no that loud, butif i can hear it then so can the mike. its not too far from the mike...theres a cheap solution!!
