Default Re: Does anyone remember software called DATa?

OK ... well I will take a chance and buy an old PCI Power Mac 9500, install System OS8 or OS9. Have both install CDs. Then install DATa 3.1.0.

Then I need to install an Audiomedia III card and hopefully can use the SPDIF out of the DAT into the SPDIF in port on the Audiomedia III card. Probably need to find and install some drivers for the Audiomedia card.

If all goes accordingly to plan, I can look forward to enjoying endless hours /days of watching those old DAT back up tapes, break, fail and freeze.

Any other tips or pointers appreciated.

Thanks
