Default Play bug when updating to 8.0.3

Ok so when I was using PT 8 with no update, play was just fine, on 8.0.1 too.
Updating to 8.0.3 anyway if I zoom into a section (I zoom till I see on the grid each quarter note being long like 4 - 5 cm) and I hit play, the graphics (faders metering in general) are skipping some frames like there's a lot of work for the cpu, as soon as the cursor leaves the section I'm zooming, the faders metering animation are just fine, no frame skipping whatsoever.
Of course is not just the faders metering animation being slow, is even slow if you tweak some parameters on plug-ins.
It's strange because it doesn't happen with the other update.
