Mbox2 - low ends are really thin
Hi!
I am recording with Mbox2 and Pro Tools 7.1. When I record or mix (44.1 - 24) the monitor sound is good, but low ends are really thin. After bouncing to disc (44.1 - 16) the sound is different on low ends. The sound is excellent and rich. I playback and listen to bounced material on the same monitors (Genelec 8020). Why is that? DA/AD of Mbox2? Thanks.

Re: Mbox2 - low ends are really thin
Maybe a little extra bass being added by your music player(s)? Try importing the 16 bit version into Pro Tools (a new session...) and see if Pro Tools takes the low ends away from it's playback again

Maybe there is phase cancellation. Check if you are in mono monitoring.
