Default \"Importing Audio from other movie\" in 001

I'm using 001/PTLE 6.1.2 on a G4/400 with os10.2.8. When I want to use "Import audio from other movie", it does not give the option to select only a portion of the cd or a track like it does in PTLE 5.0.1 on OS9.2. For example, I may want to extract only an introduction or a closing tag from a single track cd and in PTLE 5 and OS9.2 I was able to select any segment and time length desired, but in PTLE 6.1.2 and OS10.2.8 that option is not available. Is there some other way this can be done in 6.1.2 and OS10.2.8 that I have not yet figured out? If so, I would appreciate a helping hand here. Thanks.
