Hi im really baffled on this one...

Yesterday everhitng was working great I was bouncing .wav files to my desktop all day long. Today i turn it on and record a little drop piece for a song I just made a day ealier and i bounce it to disk.....Now in media player the wave file that comes out, when played gets an error saying invalid mediatype/ decompressor not found for it. This really pisses me off cuz it worked yesterday. I even tried to bounce a file i know bounced out good the other day and it did the same damn thing. Tried doing all 3 formats (mono left anf right, mono summed , and stereo) they all did the same thing. Any help would be very appreciated. Thx

I may be way off here, but it may be your WindowsMediaPlayer. You might check and see if it's playing tried and true WAV bounces. If not, at least you'll know it's not a PT issue, and you can focus on WMediaPlayer.

K i figured it out....I just had diverted form my normal routine of loading the bounced .wav into soundforge and then saving as a .wav form in there. I guess they never played right in media player I jus had never tried it before..heh sorry ...thx for readign though
