Default Pro Tools 12.5.2 Capitan 10.11.5/6

Just to let you know,

Even this configuration is not recommended by Avid, it´s working better than any other for me.

No CPU spikes at all even with Ozone, a lot of tracks, 96KHz 24 bit

Best

Oh, that's weird. I couldn't even install Pro Tools. The pkg-package just wouldn't progress loading. I wanted to try El Capitan, because Yosemite is giving me weird bugs on the Macbook itself.

How did you all install it?

I assume you're referring to the "Verifying Package" window.. Yes it does take a little time for it to load. Just let it do it's thing. If that's not the issue, then I'm at a loss.

Cheers..

Kept stopping every 5 second on my Mac Pro ,clean install no third party plugins installed.
Reverted to Yosemite
I did a beta test on Sierra and HDX was working fine .I did not stay on it as I am using an Mbox 3 for the system audio and the drivers where not working for it

That's a common issue with several installers... In your terminal:
Code:
open /System/Library/CoreServices/Installer.app
Then the installer app will ask you to locate the package. Navigate to your mounted Pro Tools .dmg image and select the installer package.

The installation will then go as usual.
