Pro Tools not working with SSL MX4

Hello dear DUC-Users.

Yesterday i bought PT 10 (boxed version) and installed it on my studio-pc that is equipped with a SSL MX4 and one Alphalink.

After the successfull installation i started up PT but after a few seconds it told me that 'no PT Hardware is installed or in use by another application'. After clicking 'OK' PT shuts down. I thought

After that i installed the MBox 2 drivers and connected the (older) Mbox of my colleague but this wasn´t sucessfull either. PT gives me the same message as above and shuts down.

Can it be that the 'wrong' PT 10 was installed (maybe one that does only work with PT-hardware?!)?

I don´t have asingle clue what to do! I'd be really really grateful if you guys could help me out!

Short update : MBox 2 is working now but PT still shuts down after switching the playback engine to 'Soundscape ASIO'.

Ok, I have to revise my statement.

Obviously there can't be any VST plugins loaded in the Soundscape mixer. After removing all the VST plugins, Pro Tools will boot and output the audio through the Soundscape mixer as expected.
