002- "Hardware either not installed or used by another prog"

The error message I am getting is saying:

"Pro tools hardware is either not installed or is used by another program."

Ok, now here is the MISTAKE I made.

I just did a fresh install of Leopard. (i know i know, I should know better). I am also using PT 7.1.1, not one of the newer versions. Is there any hope that any of you know of? Or will I need to purchase 7.4, and wait for Digi to start supporting Leopard?

There certainly won't be any sort of support in Leopard for the old versions of software. You're going to need to go to 7.4 in any case. Leopard support has just been announced for the HD systems, so LE is probably right around the corner.

thanks for the info, i was afraid of that. now as far as my computer telling me that the 002 is not connected, is that most likely because of Leopard, and me using the older version of PT?
