Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials 8 - Need help! Now contains "Sandra report"
Hey you! I had a pleasant encounter with Pro Tools 8 w/ M-Audio Fast Track. Untill it stopped working...
"Unable to locate M-Audio hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on." Just one day, it decided to be a prick and make my life horrible... So I'm hoping you guys or gals could help a poor youth, with his (soon smashed) poor M-Audio Fast Track... I would be very happy, if you guys or gals could help me. Certanly would be happy to get some covers on youtube in better quality, and it would help me with recording demos too. I'm currently running on pretty good computer. Specs coming right, down under... Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bits Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz 2.49GHz RAM 2814MB Reguards, Freddy H. Re: Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials 8 - Need help!
Have you tried uninstalling Pro Tools and the M-Audio drivers and reinstalling them?
You could try looking in the Device Manager to see if there is an exclamation mark next to your hardware, then right click on it and update or install the driver. That may sort it out. If neither of those work, we'll need to see a Sandra report and get an idea of how everything is configured. The Help Us Help You thread has all the details... |

Re: Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials 8 - Need help!
Yes I have tried that, but it has not helped at all sadly... But this is the part it gets weird, when I download the 32-bit driver from M-Audio, I get an error message where it says: "This version of Windows is not supported by the Fast Track installer."
I find this weird.

Re: Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials 8 - Need help!
Same problem here, fixed by simply reconnecting the usb cable to the device when the first error message pops up when loading Pro-Tools.
