Default PT8-9073 errors gone?

Can anyone report on whether the 9073 errors are still occurring when making fades during playback?

Haven't seen any yet. Getting a lot of -9128 (processor too slow) errors though... small sessions on a HD3/8 core mac.... not right at all.

Whoa, scary. Hope it's a little bug that can be fixed quickly. Certainly not going to be upgrading to PT8 on my G5 after hearing that.

The -9073s during fade processing in playback have been fixed. A fairly invasive effort over the last 9 months or so is all it took!

Recycle the G5s and upgrade! No decent program with millions of options should run on those old machines anyway.

I hear you Repo, but this 2Ghz G5 PCIe Accel rig has been the most stable thing I've EVER worked on. I never have to worry about anything going wrong when people rent my place out.
I'll not be upgrading till the new Macs with Snow Leopard come out next year. But then I'll have to wait for Digi to become compatible. So I guess I'll be using my G5 for another year at least

Thanks for that!

Are you going to be able to fix this in 7.4? I held off on upgrading to 7.4 partly because of this problem, but just made the upgrade, and it is really bugging me.

I always lay back for a while before upgrading until the dust settles and I can be assured that I will have a stable system, so even though I already purchased PT 8, I will be running 7.4 for a while, and I know others will do the same.

Please issue a fix for 7.4.
