breakout cable for Mbox Pro?

Hi! I still do love this unit (3rd gen.) so I just purchased it used for 60 bucks and it works perfectly!! The only thing missing is the breakout cable so I can connect spdif. I've searched the webs for this 15 DP connecter, but no luck this far. Does anyone know of a solution like maybe a third part solution or something (m - audio etc) ?

If you cannot find a ready-made cable, do it yourself.

It is a standard 15-pin VGA connector that is used for MIDI in/out, clock in/out, and SPIDIF in/out. Knowing that SPDIF is unbalanced you probably only need to find one of the pins (hot) to connect once you have your ground (cold) soldered. Doesn't take so long to find out once you are on it. Little harder if you need to find two pins out of 15. In that case Avid Support may provide you information about which pins to connect. Not sure about that but worth asking anyway.

You should also check eBay as they show up from time to time. And check with an Avid-authorized service house like allproelectronics.com(based in Nashville)
