Default Processes that can be ditched?

Hey so I would like to kill as many windows processes as possible on my computer, but I'm afraid I will kill something pro tools and my plugins need. Is there a list somewhere of processes i can kill, or processes that I definitely shouldn't kill?

This site has been around for like forever and has some good stuff on Windows configurations. When I ran a Windows machine and Sonar 8 using his stuff I got the ram load down to under a 100 meg under Win XP. It's amazing what can be taken out.

I haven't looked at Windows lately and not sure if it's still in there but the msmsgs.exe process takes up a lot of cycles and should be stopped.
