Default channel setup?

I'm using Xpand...

I'm trying to set the kick to (A) the snare to (B) hihat to (C )and crash to (D)

but they all play at the same time...

Is there a way to assign each part to a different channel and set each

channel to it's own midi track?

Default Re: channel setup?

Midi channels in Pt's 8 (Xpand 2) not 7.4 Still only stereo out.
You could however map the midi notes in Xpand (1 or 2) so they do not overlap.
Going further you could use 3 instances and say have K & Sn on one instance panned hard L & R for discreet recording then HH / Toms & Cymbals on the other 2 instances.
Have all responding to just 1 midi channel (Mapped).
