Default Max Temperature Avid Hardware / Interfaces ?

I've searched Avid's tech spec's, manuals etc ...but couldn't find an answer:

My hardware is in an extra room and although I built some sort of ventilation for it, its becoming more and more hot in there (3 x HD Interfaces, 2 Macs, Surround-Amplifier etc....).

Any guesses aproximally how hot I can allow it to get - without me having to worry about drastically shortening the lifespan of my HD rig or risking some electronic parts to die ...etc ?

Right now on a hot day it can be 104 Farenheit (40 Celsius) in there ... Absoltuely no problem - or do I have to worry and better improve my ventilation-system immediately ?

Thanx for advcice !

I know of no electronic equipment with room temp. specs. over 100 degrees F. In fact the 192 I/O is 95 degrees F. The internal temp is much much greater and most computer/equipment rooms are cooled to 65 degrees F.

My humble opinion is you are asking for trouble. I have mine cooled to 65 and it has run 24/7 for 7 years.

That is a good question I have been thinking about as well.
I have a tube pre with a 2 space gap under my HD interface and it became very warm indeed. I don't use that pre now because I am wondering the same thing. It gets to warm for sure where it is I guess I need a new rack before I can power that up again . Im not going to ruin my best converter over lack of rack space.
I only made a comment on this thread to bump it back up ,incase somebody has a more detailed answer for you.

I've had mine in my Southern California desert garage for 5 years... gets to over 100 degrees F everyday for 2 months in the summer, sometimes over 110 degrees F. No problems yet.
