Default Canīt save templates

Just upgraded from HD 10 to 11.1.2.

Everything went smoothly, all working (in HD 10 and 11). But I canīt save templates. I keep getting this error message:

Could not save as "" because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/124699/ProTools/NewFileLibs/CoreFoundation/MacBuild/../../Sys/Sys_FileLoc.cpp", line 199.

I have tried repairing permissions, but that didnīt help. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,
Pete

Have you tried the standard fix of trashing the Database and Catalog files?

Thanks Craig.

No I haven't. I havenīt had many issues like this before, so I guess the standard fix is not that standard for me. I will do that tomorrow.

By the way, I received Avid support code with the upgrade. I have tried all day to submit a ticket, but every time after I have filled the form and hit "next", I get some kind of error message from "force.com". (error:error occurred while loading a Visualforce page.)... Is this known issue with Avid support, am I missing something obvious? I did try with Firefox and Safari and from 2 different computers, and filled all the required fields of course... Weird, and a bit frustrating.

You don't want to blow your ACS on this unless it isn't a normal cause

Hi,

Trashing prefs didnīt make any difference.

Its "90 days complimentary ACS", and good for up to 10 online support cases. I donīt see why I shouldnīt use one of them for this. Unlikely that 9 cases wouldnīt be enough for next 89 days. (I havenīt used single one in last 10 years…) But seems like I donīt have to worry about that because itīs not working.
