Default Reliable 2nd soundcard?

Hi just getting a new Pc after a while using a mac. Can anyone recomend a reliable 2nd soundcard to run alongside my 001 for acid and soundforge etc. I won't be recording much throught it just using it for samples and arranging, so it does'nt need to be expensive, just has to be stable and not conflict with 001.
Thanks any advice would be great.

The going-going-discontinued Lexicon Core 2 has existed peacefully with my Digi 001...
After I installed it, I lost the ability to hear CD's through any media players from my CD-ROM drive, but I think that's a Win ME issue, not the Lexicon's fault... but it's a good basic soundcard available cheap if/where you can find 'em.

I have a Soundblaster Live together with my Digi001. So far no problems. I usually use it to trigger Gigga Sampler.

I think the M audio stuff sounds better than the echo stuff. I use the delta 66

To Stone Knife

What things do you use the Core 2 for? Can you use the ADAT out to feed the 001? If so how well does it work?

Thanks.

Loren

PS Core 2's are showing up on e-Bay for about $160.

Great for syncing PTLE to Logic, then send your softsynths(NI B4/Pro 52 etc into Pro Tools.
