DAE Error 743

Hi all -

I am configuring a 17-station i7 iMac computer lab right now with PT 8.04 and MBox 2 setups. Every time I attempt to record, I am getting DAE Error 743.

This is a fresh installation of the software, I have trashed prefs, run disk utility, and updated all plug-ins. I'm assuming from the 77 views of the other thread related to this error code that others are having this issue as well.

Does anyone know what this error code is and how to fix this problem?

What are you recording to, internal drive or external, if external what form of connectivity?

I've experienced similar errors when trying to use a bus powered FW drive?

i am getting same.
mbox micro, and good drive connected, has worked in the past, must be the 8.0.4 update? maybe. who knows, we're all in the dark here. avid like digi can't do everything...

Reinstalled the MBox2 firmware (even though it's from 2006) and the error disappeared.
