Is my Adaptec 2940UW compatable with the Seagate 9 gig Cheetah ultra 2 drives???

Yes. Ultra2/LVD SCSI is backwards compatible with single-ended SCSI devices, such as the 2940UW. Your drive will operate in single-ended mode and will be subject to the cable length and bus speed limitations of single-ended SCSI. ------------------ --Steve Rosenthal, Digidesign ETS
