Trying the get past the Maschine delay bug in protools

Where is Auto Latency Off in PT Ultimate - I don't get a contextual menu when I click on the compensation item in the mix window. Does it exist anywhere else?

any help appreciated!

Not sure I understand your terminology, but if you wish to disable ADC(automatic delay compensation), its near the bottom of the OPTIONS menu. Next thing would be to set the playback buffer to a low setting like 64. If things are still a mess, come back with more info on the system and interface

Thanks for the reply! Yes I'm not sure what the compensation display I'm referring to is called. It can be found on the mix window under the faders when delay compensation is displayed.

AVID and NI both state that I should be able to right click on that compensation display and get a menu to turn off auto latency for the track but nothing happens when I do this in ultimate 2018.7

I guess I'm asking how do I leave ADC on for the session but disable it for this specific track?

I have this with Maschine

Open mixer page, bottom left there's a selector for what you get to see in the mixer window, select delay compensation and at the bottom of the channels appears a green (hopefully) 3 figure readout, bottom of the Machine channel right click and set "delay compensation" to off. Maschine should play in time. Setup a track preset for a Maschine track with the delay comp in an off state like this and you don't need to remember to do this each time

and it's not just Macshine, if you have certain plugins with own external sequencing or rhythmic looping is quite common - Nerve, some Sugarbytes, Izotope Stutter edit, I think even AIR filter gate now, turn it off and see if it's better.

I'm suuure it's on Avids list to fix obviously.
