Insert Silence gives me an Assertion error in Time_MeterMap.cpp Line 1267

I'm simply trying to insert a section of silence to adjust for an added scene in this film I'm mixing. I was able to successfully do it just prior to this for a different section but now, I can't for some reason.

I searched around and some suggested that I trash my prefs, which I did, but to no avail. I'm thinking that this is just a bug but wanted to ask AVID techs about it first.

Could not complete the Insert Silence command because Assertion in "..\ ..\ Time\ Time_MeterMap.cpp", line 1267.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

So I was able to eliminate the Assertion Error and do Event>Time Operations>Insert Time by deleting my VCA Groups!
