I have no got a massive issue where I have iLok 1 and it has taken my PT9/10 licences and now I cannot access Pro Tools 10! What am I to do?

Got my email a couple of days ago. Now my excitement has died down since I now must upgrade Reason and Kontakt to go with this new PT11.

Hey man I was in the same boat you're in. I emailed iLok letting them know that their license application should check for the correct type of iLok BEFORE surrendering your licenses. Either way I just took a practice Squire Strat to Guitar Center as a trade in and got a new iLok.

Hi Bruce,

I haven't recieved any activation code for the free student upgrade that I believe I'm entiteled to. I do check my e-mail many times every day.

I'm not in a hurry but could you look into it when you get the time?

Just activated my PT11 upgrade, started running through the iLok process, and AFTER I already surrendered my PT10 license, iLok informed me that PT11 will ONLY work on the 'new' iLoks, which means I'm S.O.L. now.

I don't have a new iLok, I have the old ugly blue one, and they just forced me to surrender my PT10 license from my old iLok, so now I can't open any version of pro tools.

Do you guys have a plan to address this? Or am I just stuck?

Hi Bruce and thank you for your help.

Got the code. will take a look at it tomorrow.

I've looked through my e-mails but I haven't recieved any mail from AVID on that date. I don't use spam or virus filters on incoming e-mails, so I don't understand where that mail can have ended up...
