On Mac it is just "command" and "+"
Wouldnt that just make everything bigger, but not actually enlarge the size of the fields themselves?

Short answer is no. Oh how I miss the CMD+scroll wheel thing on Mac.

Win 10 has a 'zoom' of a sort, but it's horribly clunky and nowhere near as useful as the thing (in MacOS) that you're describing.

You can scale text and icons in Win 10 settings, but again - it's a clunky way of doing things, and it doesn't actually address OP's (and my own) problems with the IA dialog.

On top of that, I'm finding that a lot of app UI's look like doo doo once you go even a bit beyond native res, so the scaling thing isn't something I could just set and forget.

There are a lot of little productivity type things about MacOS that I miss, but that's another topic altogether.

Huh? if everything gets bigger then fields are part of everything and will be enlarged also.
If the goal is have that specific dialog window get bigger but not the entire session window then no that won't work
If the goal is to have the specific fields, boxes, and text be bigger (more legaible) then yes it works.
But apparently windows is more problematic to do so .

Not sure I understand what you've said, but I did have it correct. You have to differentiate between "zoom" and "re-size". It sounds like you are talking about zooming. I assumed the obvious (that zoom was not the OP issue), and that if you wanted a "re-size", then zoom would not work the same as re-size. Hope this clarifies.

I understand that re-size is a different operation than zoom. I was pointing out it depends on what the intent of the re-sizing is. And that for the purpose enlarging the font to be more readable, zoom works . I think perhaps I was using the term "enlarge" differently than you , yes resizing gives more length to the fields but zoom would actually enlarge them and the font . As I said it depends on the intent. But I think we are basically saying the same thing just differently . And I agree obviously the resize feature should be available to Windows users also.
