Question Racking a 192????

Im thinking of racking my 192 in a 12u flight case along with my magma chassis PC and headphone amp. Ive noticed that there is a fan vent on the side of the 192. Just wondered if this would be ok or not due to to much heat. The front and back of the flight case would be open for venting.

What do you guys think???

Should work fine. Have got my 192s in a 10U Gator rack, recorded an open air festival on a hot day. Exposed to the sun, no shade. The rack got seriously hot and some of my valve-preamps blew up.

The 192s were perfectly fine. If you take the front and back lid off you should not have any problem.

Just be mindful with the overall weight. I messed up my back lifting that rack in the back of my car...

If I could start my setup again, I'd break it up in many smaller racks!

Best,

J.
