I guess so. It does make you wonder how some of these companies stay in business. Not digi, but look at SSL. Granted they'd only have to sell 30-40 consoles to equal the money digi's taken in on 150 ICON's but I bet they are only selling 15-20 desks a year, just a guess. Maybe that's why a box of replacement lamps for a J is $400.

It's called marketing!!! $60,000 for a mouse? If anyone has one of those old SSL 4000 or Neve V3 consoles for $20,000-30,000 please email........

Do have one of those old useless SSL or Neve consoles for sale or is the ICON your first real...recording console? How does it sound? In fairness if Digi puts out a controller similar to the Control 24 I would be interested but $60,000 for controller is extremely steep...It is a controller right?

apples / oranges ... you know the story. Why do you never see anyone complaining about how much the controller .... yes the controller of a Neve MMC or Capricorn costs ? 'Cause it's a Neve ?
