Default Mbox 2 Pro in surround using other DAW?

Hello,

Does anyone know if the Mbox 2 Pro will support surround work (as an interface, if i'm using Logic)?
I see it has 6 outs, but 5 and 6 look shady to me.
Any thoughts on this?

Will I be able to plug outputs 1 through 6 directly to blue sky's bass management system and have 6 discrete stems?

Thanks.

SG

Hello. The answer is that you do have 8 discrete analog outputs. They have 4 balanced outputs (TRS) that they call Line Out 1 - 4. They have 4 unbalanced outputs (TS) which are the Monitor Out (LR) and the stereo 5/6 in one TRS connector. So yes you do have 8 discrete outputs, but only 4 are balanced. But you can feed the Blue Sky from the Mbox 2.
