Default Digi please please please please please

Create an undo function for "mute all tracks". Maybe it's just me, but I go to "alt-click solo" to un-solo all my solo tracks, and being a bit clumsy (maybe it's because I'm left-handed) I end up hitting the mute instead, muting all the tracks. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying. An undo would really help for cnuts like me.

YESSS!!!!!

Having the "all" group enabled to make space for a second chorus…hit a channel mute button to here without that track - and all tracks get muted - arrrgggh…

Please an Undo solution for this one!

Honestly... adding mutes and solos to the undo queue would raise a lot of issues. At least it would for me. Remember, Pro Tools has a limited number of "undos." Start throwing all the Solos and Mutes I do into the queue... and the more important things like edits and automations start getting bumped off the list much faster.

Is it REALLY that hard to just alt+click again when you can clearly see everything is muted/solo'd/greyed out?

And how do you get a complex pattern of muted tracks back…this way???

You're presupposing all the tracks are on all the time are you? Well you may be able to mix like that, but some of us need to break it down a little.

I agree about adding to the undo cue, but.....
If you have 75 tracks and have muted (non automation) 6 of them for various reasons, then accidentally mute them all.... well you have to unmute all of them and go back and figure/find the previous muted ones. Can be a pain, which is why i will often Mute the whole track with tripple click, and Cmmd M, instead of the mute button. ff

I suppose that raises a good point. But isn't that what groups are for?

Perhaps there needs to be a completely separate undo/redo for mutes/solos. Granted, that's yet another feature to be coded, and debugged. I just really don't like the idea of mutes and solos being in my undo queue. I'd rather take the few extra seconds to re-mute/solo what I need to.
