Default Automatically Control Target Plugin

Is it possible to have your custom map for a plugin pop up automatically when opening a new plugin? My SSL UC1 automatically maps to the active SSL channel plugin and it's great! Click the plugin you want to control and just start turning knobs.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this with my S1. For example if I have a plugin I'm work with using my custom mapping for my S1, and then I click another plugin on a different track, is it possible for those parameters to now appear since the S! is already in Insert mode?

Thank you very much for any help or insights. Apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn't seem to find an answer while searching.

I haven't done this before, but I'll check and see similar cases and try it out then get back to you.
