Default View Presets on Browsers

I think this is really stupid but all the time I thought I could memorize the presets on the browsers by Ctrl+Click on number on a PC. But this doesnt seem to work. Anyone with the same problem?

Workspace View Presets work for me. 8.0.1.

Glad to know some of us believe when we talk of browsers in a Pro Tools forum we are not talking of firefox, and presets on browsers have exactly this name on PT I believe.
Filosefem, so you just choose the location and ctrl+click on the preset number? I do exactly this and it doesn't work. Any ideas?

In albee's defense, and to confirm what filosofem said, the term in Pro Tools you are looking for, and what most users of this forum/Pro Tools would understand, is Workspace.

Typically If you are talking about browsers, you're talking about Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc.

Yes but in other words I reconfigure any DigiBase Browser Column Header and/or Browser Pane size and then Ctrl+Click a View Preset. Thus saving the state for recall.

well, actually you are wrong.
It´s not only the Workspace I'm refering but also to the Project. And the option to bring them to front it's called Browsers.
filosofem, funny because I move the column header and it remembers their position but not the location. Weird.

File location I believe is not part of the Workspace Browser View Preset operation. However if you double-click any Volume opening a Volume Browser this browser will remain open to it's file location.

Alt+J Bring to Front
Alt+Shift+J Send to Back

These will remain open even though a session is closed.
