Unitro8 Midi Interface doesn't show

My Setup

Mac mini M2 Pro 2023

16GB RAM

1TB SSD

Ventura 13.3.1

Firefox 116.0.2

ProTools 23.6.0.110





I installed the latest drivers 3.0 from apple for the Unitor8 Midi-Interface. (macOS 10.15.7 or higher, Mac with Intel or Apple Silicon processor)


In Audio Midi Setup i cannot see the MIDI Interface. Usually there should be a proper icon named Unitor8/ATM, at leas on the IntelMac that i migrate from...



Consequently it doesn't show up in PT either



Any ideas?

Do the instructions in the top paragraph of the "Kernel extensions in a Mac with Apple silicon" section.

it's just not reliable
it works for 3 days, then, for no reason pro tools doesn't activate the predefined ports, despite i can see the unitor in the audio-midi seupt



restarting the mac and then they are there again... so frustrating

how can i 'activate channels' in the midi predefined selection?


today unitor8 shows up as an option in the MIDI Out selection-box of the track. nice.


however, midi is not transmitted because of


channel output -> predefined -> unitor8/AMT Port 1 through 8, but the status is
'no channels activated'
