It's a great concept, and I've tried several versions of it. Unfortunately it's always fallen a little short of expectation in PT. The developer appears to be a busy guy who only works on it when he has time to spare. Understandable, as he offers it free of charge. I think it's got tremendous potential, just needs to mature a little bit more.

Sorry, I just read your question properly. You cannot do that. AG cannot host AAX. Only VST and AU, much like Patchwork or VEP. What you can do to lessen your load is to use the VST versions of your 3rd party plugins in AG, as opposed to loading the AAX versions directly in PT. I messed with that for a while, but as much as I love the concept for its originality and potential, a lot more work has to go into it for it to become as seamless and elegant as Patchwork or VEP.

Everything he said.

I’ve been using it with my new mini pc server and so far. So far. Seems to be legit. But I have more testing to do with protools.

Great. I haven't tried the latest version yet. I really like the way plugins appear as if you are using them within PT. The last one I tried sort of defeated the purpose; a few plugins increased my CPU usage, instead of the other way. Maybe that and other bugs have been fixed by now. Do you use AG on a separate machine?
