shortcut to see send mute automation-gone?

Hi,

On my D-command, I used to be able to hold down cmd+ctl+send mute button to see the mute automation on screen for that particular track. It doesn't work that way anymore. What is the shortcut to see the send mute automation?

I used to be able to display, in the edit window, the send mute automation for a track by pressing Ctl+Cmd+press-the-send-mute button for a particular track. When I do that now, it asks to rename the send I/O.

I have read the D-command guide and found no specifics regarding displaying send mute automation. I just know it worked before with all earlier versions of PT, but not with v8.

All I can think of is to make sure that the button is set to mute and not bypass in the global settings strip. I'm not in front of mine to test right now if that makes the difference but it makes sense to me.

I appreciate you trying to help! I do have the global button set to "mute." I just can't seem to figure out what the new command is. I know a bunch of things changed since PT8, but I can't findi it in the manual.

Now that I'm in front of it. you're absolutely right. It wasn't part of my normal workflow so it wasn't something I'd do too often.

It's kind of cool that the rename dialog comes up, but it's not consistent with the whole control-command concept which does the same thing for everything else you touch except that one button.

I'm releived to hear it's not just me. I also agree that it's kind of cool that the rename dialog box comes up, but I think that it breaks convention too much. I wish it was back the way it was before and get the rename changed to something else instead.

Does anyone know a shortcut to see send mute automation on the Dcommand??

It appears that this function is not working properly. I've talked to engineering and we've got it logged for a fix.
