Pro Control Mounted at an Angle
I want to be safe and ask this question. I'm working on a custom mounting bracket that enables me to drop my ProControl units into the bracket and then in turn mount that bracket in a rectangle cut out on the top of the desk.
I'd like to mount the units at an angle, around 10 degree's or so to make it easer to see everything on the boards from a sitting position. I was wondering if having the faders now at an angle would that have any long term effect on the pulley/motor? Thoughts or any experience with this?

Re: Pro Control Mounted at an Angle
I have mine tilted up like that , much easier to see and use. Also looks cool.
No problems, the moving part of the fader mechanism weighs very little so I would think gravity has little impact at shallow angles.

Re: Pro Control Mounted at an Angle
I'll post a picture on here when it's done. I've got a local company that can fabricate things for me fairly cheaply, so they're actually gonna make the bracket for me. I'm actually looking into having them fabricate the brackets that mounted units together, and sell those on eBay.

Re: Pro Control Mounted at an Angle
Mine is also tilted up, the back is tilted 6 cm (2.3") higher then the front of the desk. It has absolutely no effect on the faders. It is indeed much easier to see and use and it looks cool for sure!
